Angela Dobson

A leader in hydroponic innovation and sustainable farming, Angela Dobson drives the scientific vision behind Shipshape AgWorks. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University with a BS in Horticulture, she specialized in hydroponics and fruit and vegetable production, laying the foundation for her groundbreaking work in controlled environment agriculture (CEA).

Before co-founding Shipshape AgWorks, Angela honed her skills in business management and agricultural operations, successfully running a market garden vertical farm. At Shipshape, she leads scientific strategy, crop optimization, and research initiatives, developing high-efficiency hydroponic and aeroponic systems that drive sustainability at scale. A holder of two patents, Angela’s expertise ensures that every Shipshape farm is a precision-engineered ecosystem, balancing innovation with real-world agricultural needs.
